Selection is extremely important when engaging in a Bakugan Battle Brawl. Selecting your best Bakugan Battle Brawlers and suitable gate cards will give you the advantage in any battle. Below are the rules that you must bear in mind when preparing for battle…

- A battle may take place between 2-4 players

- You must select your ‘deck’ of brawlers and gate cards that you are going to use before you start battle commences. This means you must make your choices wisely.

  • Each player must select a minimum of 3 bakugan brawlers and 3 gate cards to use.
  • All players must start with the same amout of brawlers and cards.
  • A ‘deck’ of cards may have 1 special ability card only (your special ability card cannot be the first card a player lays down).

- Take it in turns to place your cards onto a flat surface face (sector side) down, 1 card each at a time. You must lay cards down furthest from you and each card must touch another card on 1 full side, as shown below:

Now you have your brawlers and gate cards selected, and the arena is set, it’s time to battle…

Bakugan Game Rules - The Battle

August 18, 2008

<<< Back to ‘Bakugan Game Rules’

Now the arena has been set, it’s time to do battle…

  • Each player shoots a bakugan warrior. Remember to take it in turns anti-clockwise from the first player to shoot (the youngest!)

Shooting your Bakugan…

- If your Bakugan Battle Brawler does not stand on a card, collect it from the playing area. You then miss a turn to battle until next time and it is then the turn of the player on your left.

- If your Bakugan does stand on a card, it is left there until another player’s warrior lands on the same card, then battle commences (shown above).

 - If you land 2 brawlers on a single card, you automatically win the gate card and keep your 2 brawlers.

  • If you have no Bakugan left, you must skip your turn. You may not choose to skip your turn if you have any Bakugan left.
  • Once a shot has been made, that player may choose to add another card from their gate card pile to the battle ground. You should do this if you want to capture a Bakugan Battle Brawler from another player by battling on it at a later time in the game.

Remember, in a battle…

  • The player with the highest total G-Power is the winner (see ’A' below).

A. TOTAL G-POWER = G-POWER RATING + G-POWER BOOST

* The winner collects the gate card and the opponents battle brawler *

* When you capture a gate card, you should keep it in a separate pile to your battle cards, this is so that you can easily add up your HSP to calculate the overall game winner *

  • If after a battle the total G-Power is a tie, ’sudden fury’ ensues. This is similar to sudden death in a football penalty shootout, the first player to stand their brawler on the card with the other player failing to wins the battle. If you both stand on the card or both miss, shoot again!

End of the game…

  • The battling stops when all cards have been captured.
  • The overall winner is the one with the highest amount of total HSP (see ‘B’ below). Each Bakugan that you have is worth 100HSP. The captured cards HSP is the total HSP shown in the bottom right hand corner of each card you captured in battle.

B.  TOTAL HSP = BAKUGANS HSP + CAPTURED CARDS HSP

HAPPY BRAWLING…

and remember, you can:
